The Italian localization is ready and has been set as Released, you may grab directly it from the WTS!

I made the Traditional Chinese (zh-TW) translation for RefControl 0.8.8pre2 last Tuesday and mailed it to you.
Happily, I just know BabelZilla so I had uploaded it on WTS

Since you made the context menu appearance optional in this version, i'd say to make the appearance in the tools menu also optional
